soooo had a chance to catch up on some new leaked albums!

weezer's "raditude" starts off horribly, it sounds like they're pandering to 15 year old boys who play video games and don't ever get girls...pop-punk to the extreme...but it gets better! oddly enough, the best tracks on the whole album aren't even on the album...they're on the bonus disk! idg what rivers was smoking. "get me some" and "run over by a truck" and "the underdogs" are fucking amazing! also, brian. sweetie darling. ilu and you're hot but stop writing songs..."in the mall"? come on. the guitar's brills but the lyrics? just no.

and julian casablancas's solo effort "phrazes of the young" is brilliant! now, don't get me wrong i hate synth more than i can put into words but he actually works it right! all of the songs are nice and long too...idk it may be i'm just so desperate for strokes stuff but the whole album was amazing! "river of breaklights" is my fave so far.

also, tried to download a free album on amazonmp3...they still think i'm in the uk! so...they won't let me download it? idgi but whatever torrents don't have country restrictions, so suck on that! (although not all of amazon sucks...i recently bought carl sagan's 'cosmos' book for only $4 with shipping...i can't wait for it to arrive!)

there's this club in london called matter. it's an off-shoot of primo super club fabric, which is awesome and lovely and ecstasy ravetastic...matter is like the chavy cousin. it's attached to the 02 arena and is miles from civilization but it's supposedly for more 'diverse' dance tastes.

yet look what's going on this month...

Just testing the last.fm thing...I was wary of Silversun Pickups because the lead singer sounded a bit Coheed and Cambria-esque but this track is ridiculously good!
