hahaha to not just the title (Highest Traces of Cocaine Found on U.S. Bills) @ 02:02 pm

Locale: lahndun
Disposition: giggly
Tunes: the soup

U.S. paper money contains higher trace levels of cocaine than any other world currency.

Chemists found that the average U.S. bill has between 2.9 and 28.8 micrograms of cocaine on its surface. Meanwhile, the study showed that Spanish money has the highest trace amounts among European nations.

This doesn't mean the average bill was handled by a cocaine user. Traces of the drug can spread easily from bill to bill in devices like ATMs and bank counting machines. However, the numbers do suggest that Americans love cocaine.

So, if you're scoring at home, fill in the U.S. for both the fattest and the most coked up nation on Earth. Given coke's appetite-suppressing qualities, it sounds as though we're just not getting enough cocaine to the right people.

By the way, OD'ing on cocaine does not qualify as an interesting way to die.

new jobros (don't hate...reciprocate the love that's hiding deep inside) @ 11:52 am

Disposition: surprised
Tunes: jobros dur

rough rip from mtv's the leak...http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=6f41fe95bdbd48561686155677bb2685c34ef0fe0d9d4c00
A Little Bit Longer (? i think that's the title i can't be bothered to even look it up)
1. love it!
2. love it!
3. promising guitar but it's not that good
4. getting kind of repetitive
5. 'hey nick, joe's not a girl' bwahahaha (jonascest? oh yes) umm love that silly stuff. can't help it. this is a really cute song...my heart is straining it's like my heart is hard. oh lovebug. shit. this is the one everyone's going on about! 'modesty is just so hard to find' ha yeah right NICK?! fuck how did any of them get that high. whoa nice guitar. i seriously wonder if its any of them...only one way to find out (but they're not coming to england any time soon :() handclaps at the end of any song, ruin it :( but get off that cake and i dropped my pencil? wha? haha.
6. once again repetitive. oh wait i've heard this before...that's why XP it's a grower me thinks.
7. bleh slow love song.
8. hmm about their fame...we'll see.
9. eh don't really like this one. the album was so promising :( oh no synths. haha like the 'ohhh' though
10. well that was sad but okay. sounded nice. maybs a grower.
11. this is better. the usual mid-to-end album slump is over, finally. but 'so in love' repeated is not very good.
12.bleh it was okay

soooooooooo first half of the album is amazing. second half? not so much. oh jobros. well i didn't like much before burning up so baby steps guys.

new primal scream!!! @ 12:46 pm

Disposition: excited
Tunes: bobby the love of my life

Beautiful Future: (it's featured on Napster so go listen...nooooow)

1. "Beautiful Future" fucking hell BELLS?! its so poppy, sunny, happy...perfect for this beautiful day though...shoegazey guitar driving in the back...i think i love it? it's long for a opener...i really like it though.
2. "Can't Go Back" did that just flow? oh yes. it did. i love this track. i hated it the first time i heard it but it's a real grower single.
3. "Uptown" ho no philly soul. it's okay but COME ONNNNN. don't make this where electro is headed. it seems really natural on this album :| bit of a filler, just drones on. but it wasn't horrible (am i being nice? i think so)
4. "The Glory of Love" next single. not digging it. sounds shoegazey and electro and i don't think that's the best combination. short too.
5. "Zombie Man" no more girly singers! kinda missed this one though, it was missable.
6. "Suicide Bomb" okay distortion. i like it. guitar yay! finally! love it. quite dark, vocals and such (for this album)
7. "Beautiful Summer" i am being reeeeeeally generous on this album...it's droney but i like it cos its shoegazey. well i do like this one, except it name checks the summer of love *shakes head* wow it's actually great.
8. "I Love to Hurt (You Love to Be Hurt)" ooh like the beat. and lovefoxxx! love her. love this. it's really nice. bobby's vocals don't suit it but whateverrrr he's amazing so...
9. "Over and Over" verrrrry slow but it's nice. kinda bluesy guitar. meh. filler.
10. "Necro Hex Blues" i like the guitar (merci josh homme) really nice closer! loves it.

saw the cover art though...oh god...so electro...in a bad way...and haha to the blurb on wiki: "the album displays a heady mix of genre crunching taking in Philly soul, dark electro, accelerated rock'n'roll riffs and pure British pop, all given that particular Scream edge" i love them.

didn't get DARK electro, nor accelerated rock'n'roll but whatevssss, still love them.

tour?!?!?!

=w= @ 02:18 pm

Disposition: cranky
Tunes: =w=

red album:

1. rhyming is off but i really like it, sounds like typical weezer, yet sped up, it's a great opener
2. again silly rhyming, metally but...gangsta what?, choirs? boho rhapsody-esque...in its randomocity, i like the chorus though, i missed rivers :(...but wait......what? this song is too fucked. they're trying to please too many diverse groups. stick to your nerdy indie sounding selves thanks.
3. the single, i love it...a real grower (not a shower)
4. awww i love it, so nice. odd lyrics but it's nice, very nice...but speaking of nirvana expanding his world.........really? self-reflective song on the band...quite meaningful
5. everybody get dangerous haha, yeah? vox sounds a bit...typical. like american grungy/alt bands these days...but better lyrics. the heyyying isn't too nice. ending is v 90s, kinda like.
6. ehhh, its cutesy. well it's good but whoa it changes shape
7. ...um. who?
8. umm...what? brian you suck (yet you're so pretty)
9. sounds alright but so not weezer, i like it though...actually rather like it a lot.
10. loooooooove it! good closer!

verdict: middle is way too blah, it is experimental but enough? don't know. it should have been musically experimental (way better guitar) but oh well.

Writer's block says do I have a catchphrase...yes, it is "fuck that shit".

Anyways sooooooooooo the neeeeeeew Gnarls Barkley....*le sigh* sucks. There wasn't one track that superbly stood out, although a couple were decent. Very sad indeed...I was hoping I'd have some fun new material for when I see them next week (playing in a 620-capacity club)...might sell the ticket now :(

But yes on the opposite end of the spectrum I'm listening to Hawkwind...and they're pretty much amazing.

Also I'm dying (literally....it pains me) for the new Mystery Jets...when will it leak?!?! rar.

new music @ 12:37 pm

Disposition: bouncy
Tunes: the best of 08.

SM and the Jicks- Real Emotional Trash

1. Dragonfly Pie: interesting beginning, very 'pyramid song' with the beats and grunge-tastic guitar...fuck me falsetto? I love you SM...nice solo. I reeeeally like this track...the singing too, lay-ying kinda Liam-esque although he sounds like someone else as well. guitar again...i looooove.
2. Hopscotch Willie: once again amazing guitar. lyrics a bit what though. it's vvv long, I loooove.
3. Cold Son: wicked guitar sound. i can't take it, it's too good, this album...
4. Real Emotional Trash: aww and it gets slow. piano sounds nice but the music's a bit too loud to hear it. fuck me this guitar.......whoa. crescendos into...whoa. fuck me. a bit sloppy just like he likes it but good enough for us to handle...pianos a bit wank in there but whatevs...god these songs are all SO long for SM. but yeah it makes absolutely no sense lyrically.
5. Out of Reaches: a bit loose but it's okay. nvm guitar is brills.
6. Baltimore: love the beginning lyrics/singing, fuck i love it, call back guitar and keys...bass comes in...god damn. all falls apart and comes back together in a new form...
7. Gardinia: don't like the way the vox comes in, bah bah bahs are nice
8. Elmo Delmo: didn't realise they were different, yeah it's alright, lyrics again are non-sensical
9. We Can't Help You: gah missed it but i'm sure it was brills.
10. Wicked Wanda: niiiice, the la's are suttle but lovely, a bit short though.

(there's apparently 2 hidden tracks that I don't have :( )

fuck me that was amazing. best of 2008, right here.

I could have bulit a house on the ocean.
I could have placed our love in the sky,
But it really doesn't matter at all,
No it really doesn't matter at all, life's a gas.

I could have turned you into a priestess.
I could have burned your fate in the sand,
But it really doesn't matter at all,

we just wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time.

you gotta keep one eye looking over your shoulder, you know its going to get harder, and harder, and harder as you get older.
